Congratulations to Ph.D. student Michelle Lyons-McFarland, who has been awarded a 2015-2016 travel grant from the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies. The grant will help Lyons-McFarland to attend the 2016 ASECS meeting (PDF) in Pittsburgh, March 31 – April 3, 2016, where she will present “The Challenges of Being Lost in Eighteenth-Century British ‘It-Narratives.'”
Established in 1969, the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies advances study and research in the history of a time that has profoundly influenced our world. ASECS is a pioneer in interdisciplinary investigation, and it therefore welcomes as members those working in all areas of scholarly inquiry pertinent to eighteenth-century studies.
