Graduate Students at “Evil Incarnate: Manifestations of Villains and Villainy”


From July 11th to July 13th, 2014, CWRU hosted the interdisciplinary conference “Evil Incarnate: Manifestations of Villains and Villainy” – and several English graduate students took part. Monica Orlando chaired the panel “Children and Evil” which included Cara Byrne presenting “Erasing Childhood & Illustrating the Evils of Racism in African American Children’s Literature.” Matt Trammell chaired the panel “Science?” and Ray Horton chaired the panel “Across Genres”
